Who we are
Lloyd Debarr (Lead Vocals & Acoustic Guitar) - Lloyd started his musical journey early in life on the West Coast. He has written and produced multiple albums. Over 28 years he played as a side man with many Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members.
In 2011, he retired from professional music and relocated to NC to become a Worship Leader and Solo Artist. Currently Lloyd’s band, Clarion Overjoy, has just released their first album titled, “Final Stand”.
John Lapp (Cello, Bass, Synth & Background Vocals) - A multi-instrumentalist, John has been a musician & performer for most of his life. Starting with piano lessons at the age of 6, he started playing cello at the age of 10 & bass a couple of years after that. A classically trained musician, he has performed professionally in orchestras, small ensembles, rock & country bands, musical theatre & just about any other setting you can imagine. In his early 20s, he discovered a passion for worship music & serving God with his talents, becoming a first call bass player for multiple churches, as well as playing cello, guitar & singing. A true live musician, “Final Stand” is John’s first studio album.
Marc Keller (Lead Acoustic Guitar) - With more than 40 years of musical performance in the U.S. and Europe to his credit, Marc Keller has evolved into an Innovative and passionate guitarist and vocalist. Marc has toured and recorded with ensembles, that produced top 10 hits on the acoustic music charts. Asheville’s Mountain Xpress publication voted him Best Local Musician, along with Best Local Band, in the 2002 Best of Western North Carolina edition. Over the course of his career, Marc has performed as an opening act for numerous National and World-renowned artist, including Vince Neil, 38 Special, Eddie Money, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and several acoustic music legends to name a few.
